    JamesA,

I spent four years in Alaska. I feel for you.

    Snow kilt

Understand the Stillwater Standard is acrylic. How was it for warmth in the snow?

Well, um that depends. I was fine. But I have been told that I am a freak by my friends and wife.

I felt quite warm, and with the hat I was wearing, a bit overdress as I began to actually sweat while shoveling. For those in warmer climes, that is bad becuase the sweat freezes and you are then icey and cold under you clothes.
