I must say that I do have to agree with all said already! I do enjoy the feelings of freedom while being kilted and rarely go out socially without my kilt. It has been a fun experience being a member here and I look forward to being on here a long time to come! Thanks to all for all your helpful advice and for the newbies (like me),don't be afraid to ask any questions you have!

This was the second forum I ever participated in, and I must say the very best I have seen. The willingness of others to share information, tips, DIY projects and just socialize on the forum is IMHO unique.
So to Hank - a heartfelt thanks for bringing this forum on line, and to the rest of the rabble - keep on posting.

Our Clan X-Marks joins like-minded individual from across the globe. It gives us a place to vent, rant, complain, compliment, consul, contribute, argue, disagree and agree. We discover and share new methods of doing things, new sources of items that the world treats as frivolous. All in the framework of shared experience.
We debate the many different aspects of the kilted world, and sometimes even manage to come to a consensus of sorts.
I have but one regret when it comes to this clan, (and I feel that X-Marks meets all the real requirements) and that is that I didn’t discover it sooner.

I haven't been here a long time like a lot of people here, but I have had a great experience so far, I've learned a few things here and there.

So true, Glen. I have been able to "meet" and "talk" with good, interesting people from all over the world just because I joined in here a couple years ago. While I am not a full timer because of the job, I have learned that you can wear a kilt whenever you want and have on occasion. THEN I have had the pleasure of meeting other kilties in person, including you, at kilt nights here and in Houston. I know that when I travel, where ever I go if I have the time I can always find someone from this board that might just have the time to meet me for dinner or a dram and we'll have something in common to discuss. I miss some of those that have become inactive since I joined and hope that they will bless us with their return at some point.
