Well, today's the big day. My interview is in less than an hour...
Thanks for all your support and feedback. I did end up going with the flat cap. I definitely need it today as it is raining and quite windy. I'm wearing grey slacks, white shirt, black tie, brogues(wing tips) and a black and grey argyle sweater. I'm also wearing my black peacoat, again, for the rain. I like the look. It's professional, classy, and interview appropriate, but I look like an old-school British skinhead going out on the town.
I'll let you all know how it goes, and as soon as I hear something, You'll be the first to know (after my wife, of course.)

Well, the interview went well. It was short and to the point. They only asked me four questions, all of which were directly related to the job I applied for. There are at least four openings in the district, so hopefully I'll get one of them. I'll let you guys and gals know when I hear something.

As a retired School District Employee. I do hope that you get the position that you want. I served my time. 17 years.
