I'll probably end up having to start a new thread on this, but there's a lot of history and a lot of weaving that could be drawn from in trying to find new directions for kilts and tartans out here in the Southwest. I just want to puke every time I see that Irish tartan thread, it goes on and on and on. Those rugs and blankets are much more a part of my life than the "traditional" tartans.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
