Seems Turpin is happy with his kilt. Right now, seems Durakilt is out of most of its kilt material, but judging from the the website it's an interesting offering.
Correction: I don't own one of his but I've inspected two at the GMHG and they seemed well-made and the owner (a piper) was very satisfied.
