You could do that but I think you would be better off with a database that can be searched by several criteria.

I don't think there is anything to wonder about. From what Turpin says he's a one-man shop making modern kilts while going to school. Not surprising that no one has posted a review.

I agree with you, Jake. I sent an email to Gardner since Turpin said he thought he was living in Fredericksburg, VA, my stomping grounds. Gardner replied he was actually in Richmond, a little south of me. He is going to school picking up some cash on the side in making kilts. Seems Turpin is happy with his kilt. Right now, seems Durakilt is out of most of its kilt material, but judging from the the website it's an interesting offering.
I went wilth a Buzz Kidder this week but if Durakilt had the putty material I may have gone with them. Maybe next time, I may go for the desert MARPAT. I hope Gardner joins the madness and becomes a member of the fourm.

Correction: I don't own one of his but I've inspected two at the GMHG and they seemed well-made and the owner (a piper) was very satisfied.

I've never seen one, but the grommets for the kilt pin isn't a bad idea. I've had a kilt pin rip a kilt before.

The Grommets were a good add, Look for the new closer system for the latest models. A motorcycle kilt is heavy in the works, so stay tooned and I'll try to keep ya up to date.
