    Voting Kilted

I know some people might be looking askance at this thread and wondering why it took me so long to post about voting. But some of us (VA's 1st Congressional District) actually had an election today, on account of the untimely death of Jo Ann Davis due to cancer.

So I strapped on my kilt, hiked up my hose and headed off (all of 200 feet) to the local polling place. I must say, this was the first time my "Maybe-If-I-Look-Straight-Ahead-They'll-Ignore-Me" approach to the people handing out literature and "helpful" "sample" ballots actually worked. Clearly the kilt intimidated them into letting me vote in peace; I shall rememer that for the future.

Once inside, I was treated to an anti-goverment (government in general) rant by an elderly man, since his wife had to fill out an extra form, because her name on her ID and on the roll did not match up. Turning and noticing my kilt, he broke off his small protest, looked at the kilt, smiled and said: "But aren't you cold?!" and I explained how great a nice wool kilt is.

Having cast my vote for a wonderful candidate, I strode out, with the people handing out stickers beaming wider at me then I'd ever seen (Being younger, they tend to smile at me any time, because I bother to show up).

    I enjoy voting kilted.

Women always say we guys think with our bits...if so, why not give them air to make a sound decision in the voting booth?
