    Aye ditch the sporran ( I don't say that often), As a veteran of a few kilted March and shoots its not a good bit of kit.

    Make sure your vased up too!!

    Because in the USA alone there are thousands of former runners who quit because they learned that running was destroying their knees, I think your first concern should be your own health and safety. Wear the shoes and socks that you think are most likely to protect you from injury. As to the kilt, I think running is an excellent application of the Sport Kilt Hiker.
