Yea - I'm pretty much of a geek, and understand "tricity" and "tronics" the thing just died....... I no longer have any kind of test equipment to do any checks, but all the layman stuff provided no joy.

I use re-chargables for the batteries, as I disliked the repeated expense. Never been dropped, or subjected to temperature extremes, or a voltage surge - - -or ???
