It's been in the low 20s at night, 30s during the day... Too cold for lightweight synthetics. That's part of the reason I've only been wearing my 22 oz wool.
I'm in southern California... the Mojave desert to be exact. Burning summers, freezing winters, no happy medium.
No news on the job yet. I'm going to call the district office if I haven't heard anything by tomorrow.

Not the kind of weather I'd associate with southern California. but that certainly makes sense.
I can relate especially at the moment, as the ice from the storm which pummeled Oklahoma and the midwest is now here and hitting my windows.
