Be well,
Then set up your own business and charge an arm & a leg.

Don't worry 'til the choice is kilt or food and you choose kilt.

Hellfire,
Ain't an addiction until you've got over 100 kilts...unless you're starting a museum like Ham...then numbers don't count...
Me, I lost count, was over 50, sold some I outgrew...cruel to keep them hanging unused in the closet. Current count is ONLY 48...
Now...wanna talk about kilt accessory addiction??? kilt hose, garters, flashes, belts, sporrans, jackets, vests, hats, greatcoats, garment bags, hangers, gizmos, Woolite, ad infinitum....
Now, where did I put my wish list....

I got the blessing of an addictive personality. Once I start something, I never stop. Maybe that's why I've never see a need an intervention or support group...

Why does it have to become an addiction once it's no longer a hobby? Why can't we become professional kilt-buyers? ESPN2 has competitive cup-stacking on once in a while. Kilt-buying is just as much a sport as that! I can see it now:
On the left, weighing in at 185lbs, the 6 ft Virginian Minion. Will his wool kilt swish him to victory or will he lag behind the speedy Polyvinyl? Hose are gartered! Ghillies tied! And they're off!
TheKiltedWonder is searching ebay. He might find a few deals here, if he can just avoid the ever dangerous poisonous pleated skirts of Pakistan. He's got a lead now. He's looking strong with 5 minutes of bidding to go and NO! He fumbles it. It'll be hard to recover from this.
Just a side note to all the companies out there: I'm totally up for corporate sponsorship in my Kilt-buying career

I have 3 (to be fair, one is a baby kilt which is going to a lucky little scamp for christmas, but I count it since I paid for it, and will be getting a thrifty for christmas myself) and that doesn't sound bad, but I've already picked the next 2, and have a vague plan for 3-7. Considering I am poor hungry, student who is averaging another $300 in debt a day, buying anything other than some sort of magic critter that craps solid gold is probably a bad idea.
