    I had a black one of those. Problem was when it was washed the velcro would rip it to ****. One of the reasons I'm making my Xkilt with Side release buckles instead.

    I made my own bath kilt from 3 bath towels from Kmart.

    and a close up

    I know I know I don't tan at all and this was taken with my old camera so the quality isn't great.

    Towels were easy to use because the ends were already bound and the edge didn't need a hem.

    Yes, I love it! Thanks for posting the photos, Mark. Hm...perhaps a fleece kilt will be my next attempt.

    OFCJAX, the hook side can be rough on stuff...when washing something with velcro, attaching it sometimes helps, or even better: close up all the velcro and put it in a "delicate" wash bag, then it won't hurt itself or any of your other laundry.
