Our gyms Christmas party
I toolk My Girlfreind (Dana) to my Gyms Christmas party. She knew I'd be kilted and wanted to do so also. She purchased (what she thought was) a matching Kilt skirt off ebay. Alas, when it arrived it was not only the wrong tartan, it wasn't even close to the right shade of green.
Here we are. I got us some kilt pins from Sportkilt. Mine is the Battle axe and hers is the Claymore with a shamrock. An early Christmas gift.
Our Gym owner trying to get "Artsy" by kneeling on the floor for this one.
They had a "Video Yule log" that crackled and everything. I joked with them..
"So what happens when you get cold, you turn the sound up?"
Fun was had by all and the "tough guys" nodded approvingly.

See, now if you hadn't said anything, we'd be all oohing and aahing over the fashion wisdom of the logo on your sweater matching her kilt so well.
Never acknowledge an art mistake: do it again and keep a straight face, people will soon believe it.

Looking good. As you say the tough guys nodded approvingly; only the wimps make snide comments.

Great photos...don't worry about not "matching," you coordinate very well!

How cool that she wanted go kilted along with you. It's great to be supported in such a manner. Looks like you've found a keeper!

Heh, sounds like my old guitar teacher. Good advice. It was close enough. I know, blah blah blah horseshoes, blah blah hand grenades. We made a right dapper duo at any rate.
