Yes! I am! It's a Black Watch tartan, a friend of mine from Scotland served with them, and told me it was a good choice with a lot of history. And I like the colors of it. I also have a basket hilt rapier based to wear with it, if I want, but I have had that forever. The sporran is a black leather one, and I think black goes good with everything. I will also need to get some socks for it, and I guess use normal dress shoes. For the medieval faire I will probably wear my knee boots.

I couldn't believe the price though, for a wool kilt!

    Not complaining though!

I have one. The feel of the Australian wool it's made from is great. It has a better hand than the Weathered Lamont I got at the same time.

Stillwater is very quick to deliver, so you won't hardly have to wait at all. Congratulations! I still get excited over a new kilt. ENJOY!!!

You sir, are doomed, doomed I say. You should have made your escape when the opportunity presented, instead you succumbed to the lure of the pleats. I love my SWK kilts and look forward to more. See, they're addictive. Enjoy your kilt and welcome to the ranks of the well dressed.

Quick I'd say for sure, they emailed me and told me it's going to very soon be in a box on it's way to me! I think I'm about to have a fit. I shall have to talk to some of those ladies about knitting some kilt socks. Or come to think of it, mom was taking up knitting..

Someone told me my workplace would try to keep me from wearing it. Seems like that should be against the law, as it's not a safety hazard. Anyone know about that?
