Did you look at the pocket watch site given above? There are some belt holders there, different sizes and colors, even.

Years ago I had a Harley Davidson Pocket watch that came with a chain, and a fob to keep it on your belt, it broke one day when two girls were taking my pants off and it fell

It was great watch for riding the motorcycle and when I wasn't I could use it as a pocket watch, wish I still had that watch.

I cannot lay my hands on the picture of me that I posted sometime ago here. The picture may not be much good but if you find it ,you will see I wear a waist coat with pocket watch and chain. If you wear an Argyll type jacket you could also put the "T "bar of a watch chain through the button hole in the left lapel and keep the watch in the breast pocket.I would not be without my pocket watch.

Weld two brackets to it and put a strap through them. Then wear it on your wrist. I have an old gold watch like this I bought at a garage sale for a buck.

I am slightly watch obsessed and have collected a dozen or so pocket watches. I have one I use when hiking, otherwise my wrist swells up and my watch ends up in my pocket anyway. Most motorcycle shops have them in nice leather cases. Some are quality watches.

I love pocket watches. I haven't worn a wristwatch in over a decade, so I've had a lot of pocket watches (ask sorcererdale, he's fixed a few of them!) I've found various ways to carry them. On my Pittsburgh Kilt I had a custom watch pocket sewn to the inside apron. I'm not very fond of the pouch on the belt for myself.

As for keeping it in the sporran, there's two things. One, an old-fashioned fob to make it easier to fish out, or a chain with a clip that would normally clip to the belt, but in this case to the edge of the sporran. The only downside with keeping the watch in the sporran is I keep my car keys in there too, and they'd scratch up the case of a nice watch. If I ever get around to making myself a day sporran, I'm going to stitch a watch pocket into the top back inside.
