WPG-I took the plunge
Well......after seeing Freddie's wonder WPG Gordon kilt I took the plunge.
I ordered today (my Christmas present).
I talked with Jerry and they had 23" length which will fit me fine.
The 22oz. will be great this winter!
Complete review with pictures when it arrives.
Now I wonder if Loden colored hose would look good with the kilt?

Congratulations, I'm looking forward to the review and photos as I've been thinking about one of those myself. I was thinking after Christmas if I can hold off that long, I'll probably order later on this week though.

Funny the Gordon was the one I was looking at as well. Now I'm really looking forward to your review.

My Gordon is a dandy, and it's well worth the low cost. You guys in the frozen north will really appreciate the extra weight.

Congrats, and hope you enjoy it.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Hey another Virginian! Those kilts do look awfully nice, though I'm not sure if someone in WIlliamsburg would need 22oz...Congrats on the purchase!
Now as for Kilt hose, I think a bottle green might look nice. Or as they say, try and match your shirt and a predominantly green kilt, with green hose and a green shirt might make you look a bit like a tree. Navy hose and a navy shirt/sweater might look nice!

Go with the Lovat green with red flashes. That's what the regiment wore if I recall. At least, that's what I wear, and it looks smashing.
