Ok, we have on the table a proposition to celebrate Burns' birthday on the actual day, Friday the 25th or, as I had proposed, on the prior Saturday, the 19th.

Thus far, if we do the 19th, we can hold our own X Marks serving of the haggis with that celebrated presenter, Chef. For this day, we have able to attend thus far:

Chef
Cirthalion and consort
Myself

On the 25th, we have the option of joining the throngs of crazy Scotsmen at the formal celebrations. I'm not opposed to this option, and do like the fact that it'll be the actual day. I'm just not crazy at some of the crowds some of these events draw.

Since there would be the need to get a haggis, if we do our own ceremony, I think it's best to pin this down soon. I hear that they are very elusive come the holidays. (Something about the winter solstice clues them in to their approaching demise?)

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, what say ye? Anybody else care to join a group on the 19th or do you prefer to wait for the 25th?
