    Now that's a very well turned out non-formal look. Thank you for wearing the kilt with honor.

    To me, you look so much better than the gentleman dressed in "normal" clothes there with you.

    I very much agree. Nothing adds class and taste to an event like a man in a kilt. Several times my wife has worn her sash while I was kilted, and then not all the attention is on me. She gets just as many questions and compliments.

    Two Christmas's ago I bought a nice long sash with a hand sewn rosette for my wife. She has never worn it, but she has also (for one reason or another) not been able to go to a "High" Scottish event with me.

    This year we are headed to a Burns Supper, and I hope she wears it. But I must remember to dig it out and ensure I wear a matching kilt - or not?
