Well, it's the same school district. Just a different site. I've gone to work kilted many times before, including today... I don't see why not, especially since the district has an extensive anti-discrimination policy, and it specifically prohibits discrimination based on ancestry....
Also, there's no dress code in our contract, so they can't impose one, and the kilt meets and exceeds the "modesty" standards for skirts in the teacher's dress code ...
I think I'll run it by my new boss beforehand. I'm going to inform him of my kiltedness not ask for permission.
