My first kilt was in MacMillan Hunting tartan-- bought way back in the 60's with money I earned by mowing lawns (at five bucks a pop) early mornings on my way to my "real" summer job at a drapery factory in North Hollywood. As soon as I had enough cash I went into JR Christie's in Santa Monica and ordered my kilt. I still have that kilt (but not my 29-inch waist!) and it looks as good today as it did the evening I met my wife Scottish country dancing nearly forty years ago.

What can I say? A best quality kilt is forever.

Being a fifth generation McGrath, I chose MacRae. Magrath was a sett of MacRae. I chose USA Kilts. Rocky and Kelly did a wonderful job, and delivered it early. It's a beautiful kilt and I have had many comments about it.
