Hose from the Hawick Sock co.
I just got some pictures of the Hawick Hose from that I ordered from Chris at Redshanks Scotland. Let me say these hose are a pleasure to wear and they look good and are as comfortable as any kilt hose I've ever worn, they are just a little different than your normal run of the mill hose. Chris was great to work with. When I called to ask about payment and he had already shipped the hose out . I ordered them and within a week they they were here from Scotland.
Here are my pictures.

Congratulations, sounds great.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

McMurdo,
That's the same company that makes the Lewis Hose and Balmoral Hose that we carry. They make a really high quality product!

Cloves you can get these from the Scottish Tartan Museum
I ordered them from Redshanks Scotland
And I think if you go to Matt's blog he might have a link to the Hawick Sock co. but they are notoriously hard to find.

Hawick's has two well known associations with kilt hose. Kenneth Short Hosiery have their factory in Commercial Road, Hawick, and they sell their products through some of the local quality knitwear shops. They do not have their own retail shop but appear to do mail order from a workshop at the home of one of the proprietors. They are well known for supplying kilt hose to pipe bands throughout Scotland and indeed one of the partners in the business plays with Hawick Pipe Band.

Hawick Sock Company is I believe entirely independent from Kenneth Short Hosiery. I think this is the name of the specialist business run by Robin Deas, from a small workshop in town, and which produces hose in more limited quantities than Kenneth Short, mainly for export, to specialist suppliers such as Matt Newsome. Matt can maybe correct me on this.
Both Kenneth Short Hosiery and the Hawick Sock Company are highly respected brands of quality hose.
