I had one of the green "Rogers Rangers' one's from Panther Primitive (same type as found at Townsend). Mine was a wee bit pricer because it was fully lined.
I removed the 'pom' & since the bloody ribbon kept coming untied on me, I whip stitched the back split. I also removed the black cockade that came on mine & stitched a swatch of Ancient Mackay tartan on it as a badge flash, placed my clan badge upon it & a few small blackish-green rooster hackles behind all that & wore it every where (kilted or not)!
