    My favorite answer for "Why are you..." that applies to anything is "Why aren't you?"

    It works great, and gets most flustered and unable to respond.

    The other day, a very attractive "young Lady" ( wearing a skirt) asked shyly, the enviable ?? Normally I answer - shoes & socks, but I was feeling "smart", so I answered by asking what she was wearing, Her answer - " Bikini" she turned very red) Why didn't I discover the kilt 40 years ago ????
