    Welcome to the rabble

    Tommie
from Boston, Massachusetts. My Avatar is an SWK Irish National, and I love it. I have sewn several kilts now. My first is 12 oz black denim that was on clearance at the local fabric shop. It is holding up quite well. I have sewn two plaid kilts, one of wool/acrylic 50/50 blend that holds the pleats real well and one of 14 oz cotton flannel that does require ironing after every wash. This is a very addictive hobby. I rarely am seen in trousers other than at work, where the safety rules require them. I hope that you enjoy being kilted as much as the rest of the rabble. My kilt is warmer than trousers at 11 f. at night here in the Northeast.

We'd love to see pictures of the kilts you've made. I'm working on my second X-kilt.
