Geeezzzz. This sure is a friendly bunch.
In the past i have managed three different websites and hosted chat rooms for MSN for several years.
It was a continues job just trying to keep the boards clean, and keeping porn out,and constantly kicking people out of chatt or the Groups.
It sure is refreshing and im proud to be a member of a Group like this one.
Once again, thank you all for the warm welcomes.

from the Maryland piedmont, and thank you for those kind words. I too bought my first kilt from AmeriKilt and like it so much that within a month I found and joined XMarks and in two more months had a SportKilt, three SWKs and a Burnett's-Struth. Just today DenverFabrics.com delivered to me 12 yards of tweed for two belted plaids. Kilt-loving really is an addiction.
And thanks also for giving me occasion for this, my 100th post.
Best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year.
Ian
P. S. And thanks and best wishes to all the Staff and members of XMarkstheScot.com. It is truly frightening to think of all the errors I might have made without the benefits of your experiences and advice.

Tommie,
Just an FYI
First off if you have a Technical Question about XMTS, you should post it here in the Tech Questions Forum (We Mods keep an eye out on this one to help people in trouble). Here is a shortcut :
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/t...155/index.html
Another resource when you have questions is to look at the "How do I..." Tutorial section. Here is a shortcut:

Or you can do a simple search of the site with the search engine at the bottom of the Portal page. I ran a search on "Avatar" and came up with numerous hits.
This post from Mike1 has the information you need though.
