2008 looking forward
Health and wealth to you and yours for 2008.
We want to thank all that have supported us while we have been growing the business. it has been an interesting year and we have been privelged to make many new friends. ((Like Shriner - who owns more of our kilts then I do...))
We hope we have done a good job at listening to our customers and working hard to increase satisfaction and supply.
in 2007 we managed to donate almost $4,500 to Scottish groups and other charities to support community events, clans, and schools. We hope to increase this in 2008 and plan to try and support the Scottish American Center in Minneapolis as much as possible.
Our long range goal is to be the largest (based on in-stock items) kilt supplier in the USA.
Again thanks to all that have hung in there with us and we wish you and yours a wonderful 2008 with many blessing or as US Scots will say...
Beannachd Dia dhuit
(Blessings of God be with you)

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Thank you, Mark. I feel the same way and just need more tartans in my size.

I would like to take this opportunity publicly to Thank Frugal Corner for their donation of items for the Royal Tartan Ball that the Egypt Shrine Highlanders held back in October. The proceed went to The Shriner's Hospital for Children.
May Mark B. and yourself have a awesome New Year and bless us all with more kilts to choose from.... (MacKay Modern Blue, American St. Andrews, MacFarlane Dress, something Irish and maybe a custom designed Shriner tartan) Just to name a few off the top of my head. HA ha

I for one cannot say a happy new year to Frugal Corner.
I order my 16oz MacPherson Modern in August, it is now Jan 4th and still no kilt as of yet. I've received a few emails, after I've emailed them, and still no resolution. Now their sales and info emails no longer work so I managed to find this forum and hopefully Mark W can see this. I was hoping to dress all my wedding party in Frugal Corner kilts, now I cannot in good faith do so. I am still awaiting some kind of update, but with their email down who knows.
I understand "bumps in the road" as stated in other posts, but almost six months and very little communication, is far from just bumps in the road.
