Yes! The reed... It's like a bunch of flat things all in a line with spaces between them and it can move up and down and stuff like that. And if you bend those things, you will be skinned alive! Acctuly, I've seen homemade ones made from popcicle sticks or something that are hand held. Like I said it was rug weaving.
