New Hose!
Yay! My new green hose are almost ready. And the bonus is they coordinate perfectly with my new kilt. They look blue in the photo but are really green. Except for a stray grey dog hair...

Yay, Moosedog! Congratulations on the hose, the new kilt and the coordination or how ever you say it.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I suppose you are going to poke the needles out of the holes in your ghillie brouges?

Invariably right when I get them tried on the phone rings and I have to dash through the house, sending the dogs scurrying. Really hard especially with those birch needles as they are fragile...
Right on the heels (no pun intended) here are the khaki-ish green ones Mom is finishing up for me. I am one lucky moosedog.

Those look cozy. I'm in a cozy mood today. I wish I had them to wear to the 12th night caleigh tonight. O'Neille

Oops, sorry for the duplicate...
I realize I put this in DIY when actually it is my Mum who is doing it herself while she is visiting me.... She has been knitting for...hm let's just say she has been doing this a long time. In fact she just told me the story of how she learned to knit...

Those do look great! I am sure that the love that went into their preparation will make them even more special!
