that is a cool pin. I've found some neat pins on ebay that weren't intended for kilts but make awesome substitutes. I got a cool Grendel one recently. Anybody familiar with that comic book?

About Starship Troopers the movie.....preeeetty sure that one was directed by Paul Verhoeven, the same guy who directed ....*ahem*..."Showgirls."
The movie, not being like the book...was likely EXACTLY what he had intended.

I wouldn't mind having a real Starship Trooper badge from the film-- I'll have to check with my buddies in H'wood and see if someone can track one down for me. As for the movie: read the book, read the SCRIPT, and then look at the edited film. And now, before heading out to hunt down a real Starship Troopers badge to use as a kilt pin, I'm going for popcorn. Anybody want some? And if you think you're going to share mine, think again kilted rabble! I know you didn't wash your hands before leaving the bathroom. So there.
