Wow! Thanks for the description. How cool is that, finding a piper on the scales like that, no wonder you snatched it up. I had to call my S.O. in to see it after reading the description. Yes, I am Toddo there too as well, though not a big poster here or there. I to have an Ellis everyday workhorse, not a custom job. I've spent no money on fancy blades but you are right, might of caved after all to the piper, congrats.

Are you using Toddo over on SRP, as well?

The razor arrived and (if possible) the pictures did it no justice. It is a work of art. And, of course, you know what that means. Yessir, I'm quite shamelessly begging and pleading with Bill Ellis to restore something up for everyday use. Not the full Ellis custom deal, just something simple and solid.

Trust me, if you had seen this one, you would have likely beat me to it. A mirrored, hollow ground blade, with Souvenir of Frankfurt A/M bannered around an eagle crest. Beautiful burgundy scales with a couple of gold bands and a gold inlay of a bagpiper between them. It's gorgeous, but it's going to be a display razor, as it's too good to risk in daily use.
