Thank you for your service mod guys...it is a fine venue.
I both have served as a moderator on another forum so understand that aspect. And I've had mods knock on my door when I drifted off into talk of....well...okay... So, think I understand both sides....
It ain't the end of the world that I can't tell all you wonderful forum members my plan for World peace, whom to vote for in the coming election confusion, why my choice of lifestyle is better than yours...et.al.
Know I'd never be this deep into kilt addiction without this board...so thanks again for making it so....so....so....danged addictive....

Although I have received some tutorials, I do appreciate the work that goes into this site...I have always tried to learn from my mistakes and hope I'm not one of the new members you're referring to.

Jamie, you guys do a great job of wrangling us rabble! Kudos to you all!

I think the Mods do a fine job as well... They are very fair (IMHO) and do a good job keeping the rabble under control and "family friendly". There's minimal "flaming of most companies" unless it's justified in which case it can be put under the heading of "Caveat Emptor".
Keep up the good work.

As most folk on here have said, this is a great community and the Mods work very hard for very little thanks.
That said, I'm going to nominate this for a sticky.
It seems like it would really be a good reminder to old members and new about doing the best they can and, if nothing else, being willing to back down and apologise. (Because lord knows that is hard thing to do.)

i take this post is aimed at me (also got a PM) & another other newbie in a way (fairly new members), sorry if i've ruffled a few feathers, i'm thinking this is about the "what makes a scot" thread?
there was also senior poster who kind of backed up what i was saying, two very good posts, probably put in a better way, but it was as if nobody dared quote him or question him, maybe they thought he spoke with a lot of sence? but it's ok to do it to the new guys?.
MODS generaly do a great job on forums, i see no difference here, i'm a member of a football forum who has/had 18000 members, i see the work the MODS there do (not behind the scene's) and it's hard work for them, but they do it for the love of the club.
the same will go here, so well done MODS
