What did you wear to see in the New Year?

I got dressed up in a police uniform, made roll call on time(as always), Loaded up the patrol car, shotgun etc. , and dodged falling bullets from Memphians who traditionally love to fire their pistols into the air at midnight. At the stroke of midnight, I took my pipes out of the car, Stood on the poarch of an Historic home across from a local pub and played Auld Lang Syne. Put the pipes up and continued keeping the peace. It was a pretty uneventfull evening. Happy New Year to ALL!!!

At the stroke of midnight, I took my pipes out of the car, Stood on the poarch of an Historic home across from a local pub and played Auld Lang Syne.

I went outside at the stroke of midnight also and heard some pipes, but I still don't know if it was a recording or not. I was at a friends house and he had never heard pipes in his area before.

Pipes at midnight is always a nice touch. Thanks for the thought!

My pipes ARE quite loud,hmmmmmm??? I wonder if it WAS ME you heard I believe the wind was blowing your direction
