I am addicted!
What a week, I had two registered mail notes from my rural carrier, and I have yet to pick them up (work sucks). One is my black rabbit sporran, and the other is my PC jacket I ordered on E-Bay. An added bonus is that my SWK BLK Stewart Thrifty-Kilt and belt arrived today; it was sandwiched between my storm door. I tried it on with a t-shirt and once I was satisfied that it was OK I carefully took out the white stitching, and then I tried it on again with the belt. Oh, boy am I hooked! Sitting here drinking 12-year-old Dalmore and listening to the Scots Guard on tour. However, I think I could shorten the kilt a few inches to show off my muscular knees from years of running. I will have to wear my new kilt out Saturday! This is my third kilt I ordered. The first one from SWK was a tad too big, sent it back and the same day I ordered the Thrifty-Kilt, and I ordered a semi-formal from USA for the Army Signal Ball. Now I just need a date!

Congratulations and enjoy.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

One of the 'unofficial' rules of the board is that you cannot gloat and brag about a new kilt without showing pictures of yourself wearing it. So get out the digital camera and get busy!
(Oh, and congrats on the kilt! Once you wear one once, you never go back.)
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

So very true. Not showing pics will earn you much heckling and vexing.

Yep, you got it bad - and the good news is that it gets worse (or better, depending on your point of view)
