I just have to shake my head in exasperation. Look at the ears of the black Scottie, he is not happy with the situation. Scotties seem to have more of a sense of self than any other breed we have lived or worked with and almost view themselves as equals. Our wee lad, Fergus, would be greatly offended at such a thing. All he needs is his celtic knot collar and a proper hair cut and he is good. Of course, he is 28 lbs of muscular athleticism and purpose. He tried mightily to get to the fox I brought home last weekend and would have wreaked havoc with it.

Skippy will most likely be going to the Highland Games with me. I think that I'll have enough Xmarks tartan left over to make a collar for him...a kilt would be too much...but it's look MAH-VELOUS on him. I'm thinking of passing him off as a sub-miniature Irish Wolfhound since everybody looks at him and says, "Remember Charlie's old dog, Bear? The Irish Wofhound? Skippy looks just like him only waaaay smaller."

Yikes!! Have to keep the dog indoors. If they got outside dressed like that in the canyonlands the coyote's would spot them in a heartbeat. Guessing the kilts and vest would give the coyote indigestion after his meal.

Just look at the kid's kilts from Stillwater! You might need to make a few modifications, though...just for ease of use, so to speak.

This custom of trying to turn dogs into people impersonators with different kinds of attire is somewhat suspect

Lets get more men in kilts first and that means being modelled by humans not canines!
