Yes, for $40, it's a nice buckle and I'd buy it.

I like it, but $40 is too high.
-
No, I don't like it.

Impressed but not $40 impressed
If you told me that you were trying to sell me a buckle with a stag on it originally, I would have passed. Stags just arent my thing, but seeing it I am actually very impressed. Not $40 impressed though, thats more than I spent on 3 2 1/4" belts (granted I do some leatherwork). That being said, it is a beautiful item, but I am a cheap college kid who can hardle afford ramen noodles, its not for me.

I like the design and, considering that I have spent almost that much on rodeo buckles(back in my s#!t-kicker period), I'd have no problem spending $40 on it once I'm in the market.

It's something I could admire on someone else but would not wear myself---too ostentatious for my taste.

Like it all but the stag. If it was a plain knotwork design I would jump on it but I just can't get into the stag design. Other than that I really like it over some of the other options I been shopping for right now.

I sure like it, and I'd buy it. Let me know if you start stocking them.

That's AWeSOME!! I'd pay $40 for that with no complaints at all!!
Truth is, the only buckle that I have is the generic one that came with my belt. I've been looking for a new one that grabs my attention. I've seen a few, but that one is one I'd truely love to have.
