Don't let the Sand Man get you NightHawk.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I almost had a blow up of the kilt whilst at church (it was the Christmas service, so I wanted to look nice - and what looks nicer than a kilt?). Anyways...

An overcoat did work...a lil' bit. I wore my 1953 US Army greatcoat. But, in retrospect, I should have worn my West Point USMA greatcoat. It's heavier and longer and the wind has nothing on it. Thankfully, no one saw anything...or at least I hope not. No one's said anything...

But if you have a blow up of the kilt, force it back down and act as if nothing happened.

The weight is one of the things I like about sporrans. Not that that helps the back of the kilt, but it holds the front okay. I've been in a couple situations where the sporran was pretty good against the wind.
