Tartan Haiku

[Rex_Tremende]

While it might be seen as a modern interpretation of the arasaid, designer Rei Kawakubo wadded up some Loud MacLeod and somehow it ended up in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s costume collection (see Highland Fling). The curators have encouraged the public comment on this exhibit.

In reflecting on the Japanese designer’s creation, Rex composed a little haiku. See entry at 1:48 pm, December 21, 2007. This being only my second ever published poetry (the first was in third grade), I’m proud to say it has inspired other people in verse.

Rex, excellent haiku. And it prompted me to laugh too! Good job; you might want to consider composing more often...I say that not knowing how long ago 3rd grade was for you, but your picture suggests some time.
