Andrewson, I noticed in the credits for "I know Where I'm Going" Petula Clark is listed...was she a member of that choir?

No she was not. At that time she was an established child singer and entertainer turning herself into a rising starlet who went on to feature in many British films and early TV series. Her clear bell like tone quality was obviously what Powell wanted for his movie.
