If there's gonna be salmon there again, make sure you point out if there's more than enough ... I'll put a dent in it.
I'll bring monies to foist in the direction of She Who Must Be Paid.
CT - but if I can't fit more than three kilts in my bag ... jeans (in the rain friday night).

Glad you are coming. I will be buying Salmon tomorrow and smoking it Thursday. Make sure to send Madalyn an email ASAP so she adds you to the guest list!

Wish I could make it. Oh well. Can't.
Having growdup in Northern California I sees it as anything between Lk Tahoe and SF going south is either central or southern California. But, most living near LA figure the San Bernardino hills divides north and south CA.
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Tomorrow is the Day / Warning
I hope I am not alone in happily anticipating tomorrow's Burns Night Supper!
Due to the weather I do want to advise everyone who is coming to plan your route to Scotts Valley (and perhaps come up with an alternate route like 101 through Gilroy back up to Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley) in case of road closures.
Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there and drive carefully!
(One last note about getting there, once at Montevalle follow the yellow stripes to the Old Mill, there should be enough parking there).
The festivities start at 5:00 and I great look forward to raising a glass with all you very fine people.
Cheers
Jamie

Wow, this sounds like great fun! I assume that at this point it is WAY too late to add any more guests to the festivities?
The wife and I are a little new to the Santa Cruz area and would love to meet some other kilt minded folks.
Perhaps next year!

Farlander,
Welcome to XMTS! It is a bit late to add additional guests for Burns Night.
However the "Nor Cal Rabble" as we style ourselves meet for a Kilt Night at the Devil's Canyon Brewing company in Belmont California the last Friday of each month (including tonight). We would greatly enjoy having you and wife join us at one of these gatherings. I will send you a PM with a link to a thread with all the details.
Cheers
Jamie

Does anyone know how the roads are holding up at this point?

Just checked the weather. Snow has melted in the mountains. Low pressure area has shifted so most of the rain will be north of the Bay Area.

Although I cannot attend, I wish everyone a very happy time and good weather, or at least a reasonable facsimile.
