Ugh! Long haul flights. Being a very tall 'bigger' (read very big ) guy all I can say is I dread them.

My worst would be a flight on a China Eastern cattle car from Shanghai to Fukuoka, I almost cried from the pain my legs were in as there was no legroom and the flight was absolutely full so no chance to stretch out .... people were carrying what appeared to be live crabs on that flight, absolutely horrific.

I also had a not so nice experience flying BMI from Manchester to O'hare, again very little leg room and a full flight, even when I managed to get the armrest up it didn't go back all the way so I had that digging into me for hours. :crap:

I guess it's one of the reasons I am "changing my eating habits" and getting exercise at the moment - losing a few inches could make the flights more fun (and safer as my fiancé would point out). Oh and there's these wedding photo things to consider....

Good luck Ron, I'm sure you'll have a good flight. I like to take lots of distractions (PSP, mp3 player, comics and books - though I rarely have the space to read them etc), I also like to change my watch as soon as I'm on the plane and try to adjust to that time zone - I like to do a little adjusting before I leave too - staying up late/going to bed early etc.
