I really like your logic
But it is a professional kitchen. Even if the watresses choose to wear black skirts they do not come around the corner to the "fire line." Too dangerous.

Just so you know, one of our members is having a kilt made with the houndstooth pattern worn by kitchen personnel!

Dirk,
May I ask the name of the bistro? I worked as a waiter at La Baguette in White Station Plaza about 18 years ago.

It is brand new. It's in east Memphis at Quince & Kirby. The fellow that owns it is named Shalom, so it is "Shalome's Bistro." He's the baker & his wife runs the show. Nice folks. The only think that bothers me about the name is that some folks might write it off as a Jewish Delicatessen and it is a French Bistro. In Memphis Jewish deli's get very limited business.

Sounds a bit similar to La Baguette in that when you see the name, you think French. But the menu was Greek.
Are reservations required? If not, I might try to drop in when I get through Memphis. Sounds like good fare.

Good words indeed.
Kilts up!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
