Men without pants plan kilt party

About 15 men without pants from Indiana and neighboring states are coming to Fishers on Friday to see if an idea for kilts will fly.
Charles Daron Thomas, 29, makes modernized kilts -- with cargo pockets and without the pouch called a sporran -- from his home on Greenfield's east side. He has organized the first Kilt Night at Fionn MacCool's, an Irish pub at 8211 E. 116th St. But you don't have to be Irish to stop by in your kilt, he said. Some men expected at 9 p.m. belong to the Scottish Society of Indianapolis.
"Scottish. Irish. Either to me is fine. It doesn't matter to us."
Such gatherings are popular on the West Coast, said Thomas, who once lived in San Diego. He said some men learned about tonight's free event at XMarksTheScot.com and KiltsRock.com.
Best regards,
Jake
