I will have to agree with druid. The AK stitching is tough, though I don't put mine through the rigors like paintballing would. I wear mine mostly to dinner, Oktoberfest, etc and the occasional hiking trip, and it is holding up quite well. I've washed mine about 4 times and the fabric is getting softer, with no signs of it starting to fray.
Oh, I've had my AK (Khaki) since June 07, and it is well worth the money.
