3 shows with Kilts tonight
Tonight on TV I saw According to Jim- where Jim Belushi was Sportin a Kilt,
Home Improvement- Tim & Al go to the Highland Games, both wearing Kilts.
And also the movie So I Maried an Axe Murderer- with Mike Myers and a lot of others wearing Kilts at a Wedding and Anniversary party.
It was good to see the Kilts after our Burns Supper weekend.

Interesting to hear about that cluster of kilt wearing in the media. I wonder if the timing was a coincidence.
What rationale did Belushi's show give for his wearing a kilt? (As if he needed one! )

I watched an old Cary Grant/Ingrid Bergman movie, Indiscreet, the other day. In one scene at a fancy dance in London, half the people in the scene were kilted.

As I recall, in the show an attractive woman had told him he looked good in some article of clothing, so he started wearing that all the time. His wife found out the reason, and got the woman to say that he would look good in a kilt as a joke. So, his wearing the kilt made him the butt of a joke.
Not at all a pro-kilt attitude for the show.

Aye, but at the end his wife told him to keep the kilt on as they were going to bed, that he had great calves and that she had always had a fantasy to go to Scotland.
