Oooooh, another Zonie!! From Cottonwood, home of Mt. Hope where I score buffalo and elk burgers.
Tell us more about the kilt? Pleat shot? Comin to Phx for the games in Feb? etc.
Okay...duh, saw the SportKilt emblem peeking out from behind the belt...MacQuarrie Sportkilt of course. Them emblems come off easy with a seam ripper if you wanna.

Aye, sir. I'll be there...gathering tips since I hope to compete later in the year in the Verde Valley and Prescott.
And yes, it's a Sport Kilt. I know, I know...it's not very traditional, but it's perfect for warm Arizona weather and it's in the right tartan.

Here is , I'm pretty sure, the first picture of me in a kilt. It's in October or November 2005 at the Texas Ren Fest, and the lovely lady is my friend Jennifer who works there sometimes.

Except for the shoes, dress belt , hose, (J.Higgins) and the beret, (ROTC) everything I have there came from Sportkilt. I'd found and utilized the links page on Kilt Day.com, but I had not discovered XMarks yet, so I was making it up as I went at the time!
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.

Aye Keys, the right tartan will open the wallet every time. Just like my first was a Macdonald Sportkilt. Don't let the Arizona rabble scare you off...we're a pretty rough bunch of misfits and dang proud of it....I think...I mean speaking for myself...like pretending I know what I'm talking about....but hey...just be thankful my belly and Retro Reds new hairdo aren't on the same body....back off you photoshop junkies...back off...
And Zardoz....been to that Texas ren faire once...my first I think...a lot of fun.

Well, you pulled off a good outfit, and a lady in a lovely dress to go with it.

Kilted Warrior's first kilt
According to http://www.house-of-tartan.scotland....se/reverse.asp 's tartan-finding program, it seems closest to Rangers F. C. Corporate, or possibly Morgan/McKay Blue. (IS there any green in it? If so, it doesn't show up on my terminal screen.) Sometimes i wonder whether tartan weavers don't goof occasionally (too many "wee draps?")...

My first time of wearing a kilt was back in 1987 where the hotel I was working in hired it for us to wear over the festive season.

Then again in 1988. Similar tartan but not the same.

Then I hired one for myself for a company do in Jan 2006

Look at that, hasn't aged a bit although has gained a few ounces!
