OT my latest project

Hi, All,

I know this is off-topic but I wanted to show my latest DIY project. One of the other "things" I am known for other than kilt-wearing is playing the native flute.

A Russian song and dance group was here last week and my choir got the chance to rehearse and perform with them--they had such energy and fire and despite very poor turnouts at their gigs they remained so positive...
They do both traditional folk music and modern interpretations of it. I especially found their wild Cossack dancing to remind me of the horse culture of the American plains.

I wanted to share some of our native music, so I made them this flute. My Russian is quite rusty but I hope the inscription works (laughing.)

My less than elementary Russian was learnt from Russian 'tourists' when I was working for Uncle Sugar's Customs Service.
