			Sock Liners

If you haven’t tried wearing a sock liner with your hose you should. This winter I’ve been wearing my running/biking socks with my kilt hose. Feels warmer, more comfortable shoe fit and probably reducing wear and tear on the hose.

I've been doing the same, especially with my WPG kilt hose. Mainly I wear the athletic ankle sox. It really does make a difference in comfort. Also, less sweat into the hose so I wash them less often which also reduced wear.

Thanks for the tip. I have a couple pair of some magic fabric socks made to wear under hiking socks. Will give it a try.
Once hooked on Lewis hose, I wanna take care of the investment. Hand wash...wear them liners...

These sock liners from Cabella's work very well:

Under light-weight hose they work well in the summer for keeping you cooler as well.

When I used to wear Ragg Wool socks for hiking I would use a pair of poly-pro sock liners with them. Now, during the winter I put the sock liners on for wicking or my light synthetic hikers for extra warmth. It does ease the wear on the kilt hose. Great idea!Nulty

I cut the feet off of panty hose that my wife is going to discard because of runs further up the leg. It definitely keeps wool hose from blistering your feet.

I find wearing a trouser sock helps keep the moisture off you feet if i'm working in the cold on cement all day it helps. So i now use them under my kilt hose for the same reasons and helps on wear and tear on the hose
