That couldnt be more true! When I wore a kilt at my wedding, everyone said I looked like I was born to wear one, I stood tall, strutted, swaggered and marched. It makes you feel strong, proud, powerful and free.

It's funny, when I've mentioned to lady friends that I've ordered a new kilt to replace an old one that's no longer servicable, they all go ga-ga (is that a word?) and clamor about how they can't wait to see me in it!

Even my daughter's 3rd grade teacher, when told by my daughter that I ordered a new kilt said "I'll bet he'll look good in it" (is it just me or has she started looking at me differently since?).

I can't recall as much fuss when I wore my old one, but then I only wore it at the games & intend to wear the new one more often.

I have nothing to add to what the others have so eloquently voiced, except that I whole heartedly agree and do feel more manly in my kilt, I am already 6'1" and at 235 lbs that seems to really freak people out.

A couple weeks ago while in Orlando with the family on vacation, we went to the Pirate dinner show. I of course went kilted
They pick people from the audience to participate with certain parts of the show. Since I stand out in a crowd, kilted or not, they picked me. They had us walk to the side to explain what to do. While I was standing there, my waitress came up to me from across the room and said with a wink, "You need to be careful of the strut." I said, "So, you noticed?", and she said, "Oh yes...I certainly did!"

They love a man in a kilt!
