Self confidence boost? Definitely! Also, I have recently noticed that the younger generations of young ladies seem to be interested. I was recently waiting on the platform waiting for the GO train, (Local Government railway mass transit.) and these two twenty-something blonde lovelies approached me with the comments:
1) We just love your kilt!
2) Both of our grandmother's were Scottish.
I was of course, flattered, even though I was old enough to be their grandfather. We chatted on until the train arrived and parted as friends.

Hey Tommie,
I have a friend who was helping me decorate my kitchen in a rooster theme, and she started calling my kilts "rooster feathers." I started a thread on it, so I'll go bump it up for you. Hope you see it.
