English country dancing thrived for over 200 years from late Elizabethan times into the 19th century, and was a major influence in the development of Scottish Country Dancing. Familiar to readers of Thomas Hardy, Charles Dickens, and especially Jane Austen, this wonderful dance tradition hasn't remained static, but continues to evolve and expand.....
Workshop 12:30-3:00pm, Ball at 8:00pm, preceded by waltzing from 7:30-8:00pm.
