a child goes to his first classic car show

underneath a mighty great oak tree it sits

    blood red

    simple yet powerful

    its owner sits beside it

with picnic basket and bottle of wine

    content

everything one could want fom a motorcar

    speed

    beauty

    simplicity

I may never see one again

    let alone touch one

    but the dream remains

    Cheers

Hmmmm...even if I don't get a free kilt I must commend you on your choice of dream cars. Very nice!

I think you meant '47 Knuckle right? (last year of the Knucklehead)
'57 is the last year of the rigid framed panhead.

    For me:
I'm looking for an old iron head (pre-1970) H-D mill for my pachuco-lowrider chopper project, but otherwise --

    1954-57 Chev Sedan Delivery Wagon
    1953-54 Chev 2-door

    1950-54 Chev P.U. (short bed)

    1968 Super Bee w/ 440 Police Interceptor & 6 pack

    Bobbed 1953 Indian Chief

Build up my 1972 Triumph T140 (750cc) motor into a 60's style Rocker cafe

and find a clone of my first car, 1969 Buick Skylark Custom Coupe (one step below the GS package) & do what I always dreamed, drop a 455 GSX motor / 4 speed tranny & 10-bolt posi rear end into it

    That'll do me for now

    My turn

All these purpose-built vehicles! To each his (or her) own, I suppose.

I dream of not using so much gas:

For when my girlfriend is with me:

For when I am alone and it's wet out:

I already have my dream daily driver:

and my main "go faster" bike:

    Lovin' the breeze 'tween m'knees!
